The seminar is open to all karateka, regardless of their affiliation with clubs or associations. André Bertel is a globally recognized Shotokan karateka from New Zealand, known for his precision and focus on traditional karate. He was a direct student of the legendary Master Tetsuhiko Asai and continues to propagate Asai’s techniques and principles. Bertel places great emphasis on integrating traditional martial arts with practical applicability, inspiring karateka of all ages.
To ensure an unforgettable event for all participants, the number of participants is limited.
Registration:
Please register using the form at the bottom of this page. Due to the current legal situation in Germany regarding data protection, we would like to inform you that we will electronically store your name, club, email address, and desired participation and link them to the payment received. The data will be collected solely for the purpose of organizing this event and will be deleted afterward.
After submitting the registration form, you will receive the following via email:
- A reservation confirmation with the key information.
- A registration confirmation after the payment has been received in the account mentioned above.
- Important changes
The order of registrations determines participation, as only a limited number of spots are available. The same applies to participation in the seminar party on Saturday evening.
By participating in the event, you give your consent to photo and audio recordings.
Payment Terms:
- Advance payment only. There will be no on-site payment at the entrance.
- The deadline for the latest payment is Saturday, June 21, 2025.
- Starting one month prior (deadline: Saturday, June 21, 2025).
- 50% of the participation fee will be refunded in case of cancellation. Please understand that party and T-shirt costs cannot be refunded after this point.
- Registered participants who have not yet paid will be removed from the registration list.
- Starting two weeks prior (deadline: Saturday, July 5, 2025), no fees will be refunded in case of cancellation.

The seminar party will take place on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at the Gasthaus Schlosswirt in Altenstadt, in the Knights’ Hall.

The Gasthaus Schlosswirt is the home venue of the Karate Dojo Vohenstrauß. Here, you can enjoy traditional Upper Palatinate specialties and a warm, family-friendly atmosphere. A large buffet will be provided, offering something for everyone. Drinks are not included in the price. Let’s spend a fantastic evening together in a unique setting!

Refreshments will be provided during the seminar, including drinks, light snacks, coffee, and cake, all available in exchange for a donation.

The price per T-shirt is a flat €25. Due to the expected volume and the resulting production time, we can only process orders received and paid for in advance by Saturday, June 21, 2025.
The shirts will be distributed during check-in on Saturday morning.
